Dr. Mateen K. AliNiazee is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist, with over 20 years of experience. He has been involved with research and development in advanced cataract surgery.
He has been keenly focused on the latest advancements in technology to deliver the highest quality surgical eye care. He is a strong supporter of the co-management model for delivery of eye care and surgical co-management with optometrists.
He is skilled and experienced in the areas of cataract and refractive surgery, advanced technology intraocular lenses, laser vision correction including: SMILE LASIK (Small Incision Lenticule Extraction), and lens-based procedures including EVO ICL (implantable collamer lenses) and refractive lens exchange (RLE). He also specializes in glaucoma management and surgery, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration management and treatments, along with pterygium surgery.
